Bound Bugs: Insects Illustrated in Rare Books

This exhibit explores historic imagery of “bugs.” It features fascinating depictions of insects and arachnids. These dot the pages of natural history books. Their inclusion adds to the understanding of all of nature. This exhibit includes rare books of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries from the collection of the Stark Museum of Art.
