Throughout history, artist and naturalists have studied our world. Their work is both art and science. It helps us learn more about the creatures we see every day, including bugs and insects.

Bugs is four mini-exhibitions exploring the world of bugs and insects:
"David Rogers Deconstructed:" learn about the artist who looks at small bugs in gigantic ways.
"Insects Deconstructed:" investigate and test what you know about bugs and insects
"Buggin' Out Juried Student Art Exhibition:" a special show of student (K-12) artwork posing insects or arachnids in their natural habitat
"Bound Bugs:" rare natural history books from the Stark Museum of Art collections featuring fascinating insects and arachnids

Connect with the natural world in unexpected ways. "Bugs" is a companion to "David Rogers' Big Bugs." This outdoor exhibition features giant bugs made out of natural materials. It is currently on view through May 28, at Shangri La Botanical Gardens and Nature Center, here is Orange.
