Possibly purchased on a trip with her mother (Frances Ann Lutcher) at the World's Fair, Columbian Exposition in 1893. This was potentially commissioned at the Fair and shipped to the house later. Or possibly commissioned or purchased at a later date from the artist after viewing his work at the Columbian Exposition.
