DescriptionPart of suite; backboard has central shield with elaborate hand-carved garlands and back-beveled mirror; rectangular shaped surface with ogee edge; apron has carved scroll designs along front and sides; two dove-tailed drawers on either side; lower section has two doors containing a single floating panel; central open space topped with bas relief of woman's head in profile and lattice work; metal hinges and gimlet screws are used throughout.ProvenanceW.H.
