DescriptionA wild stallion chasing a wolf.Label TextRussell portrayed a wild stallion chasing away a predator wolf. When he modeled the sculpture, wild horses were threatened not only by nature but also by humans who saw them as pests and wanted them exterminated from range land. Russell felt sympathy for the wild creatures.
