DescriptionRedbud stiches over willow coil, oval shaped, light brown with black geometric designs, clam shell disc beads on rim.Label TextThe Pomo people are from an area now in the state of California. Traditionally, they weave beautiful baskets from the grasses and plants of their region. This basket also has decoration of three discs made from clamshells. These discs are another characteristic of the Pomo homelands. The clamshells came from the coastline of the Pacific Ocean.
