The village of Taos, New Mexico, provided artists with many subjects. Hennings painted scenes from Hispanic culture for some of his most fascinating images. Here, one musician sings and plays the guitar and the other plays a violin. They recall the many groups of Mexican musicians who played for fiestas and dances.
