DescriptionRectangular shape; hinged lid; dark wood; gold colored bronze feet with scrolling design; gold colored bronze scrolling medallion centered between each foot; gold colored bronze egg and dart pattern band; gold colored bronze lock on front; gold colored bronze band with fourteen grape clusters around rim; gold colored bronze handle on either side; gold colored bronze four leafed patterned mounts in each corner on lid exterior; each mount holds circular porcelain plaque with roses on white ground surrounded by circular blue band encircled by golden hand painted design; concentric gold colored beaded bands outline shape of lid; gold colored bronze foliage design mount on lid center; center mount holds porcelain plaque with cherub on cloud surrounded by gold band on blue ground; beaded gilded rope trim on top cover; mirror surrounded by folded blue silk arranged in stage curtained style on lid interior; pink silk rose shaped ribbon trim; gold colored bullion fringe.ProvenanceFrances Ann Lutcher [Mrs. Henry Jacob Lutcher, 1841-1924] [1]; by inheritance to her daughter Miriam Lutcher Stark [Mrs. W.H.
