DescriptionDecorative glass bowl with narrow base and engraved designs. One one side the design is a rider on horseback wearing a cowboy hat. On the other side the design is a cluster of four longhorn cattle.
Label TextLutcher Stark, like his mother, collected beautiful glass. She favored the detailed patterns of cut glass. Lutcher preferred the simpler designs of the Steuben Glass Company. This bowl, Trail Driver, includes an engraving. The West was another collecting passion of Lutcher. Texas artist Tom Lea designed the image using the bowl’s characteristics. The viewer looks through the glass to complete the story.
