Label TextCurtis visited the Klamath in southeastern Oregon. “The Klamath live in a country of lakes and marshes, broad meadows, and forested mountains.” In Volume Thirteen, Curtis wrote about numerous tribes. They were located from California to Oregon. The volume included people as far east as Nevada.
