Label TextThis was Charles Russell’s final Christmas card. He prepared this message to send to his friends at the holiday season. He did not, however, live to send it out. He wrote the hope that “sickness nor sorrow don’t find you” as he struggled with a terminal diagnosis. On October 24, 1926, Russell died of congestive heart failure. His widow Nancy Russell sent the card with a small printed note mentioning the many messages of sympathy sent to her and their son Jack. Many people have sorrows at the usually joyful holiday time; what are some of the ways to cope?
