Label TextDeante Thornton rides bulls in rodeo and has a heritage in cattle raising. Like many rodeo cowboys, his early experience drew him to the sport, “I lived the ranch lifestyle from birth until today. . . . I got a lot of my cowboy and ranching background from my dad. As a kid I remember a foot of snow on the ground and we’d pile in the back of a pick-up and feed the cows. We did that for years and I don’t remember a time in childhood without animals around to care for.”
