Label TextGerardo “Jerry” Diaz is a charro. The charro is a Mexican horseman. Diaz is the fourth generation of his family to follow the charro tradition. Diaz provides Specialty Acts for rodeos. He also produces The Mexican Rodeo Extravaganza. The performances feature skilled horsemanship. In addition, they demonstrate expert roping feats. Diaz has won numerous awards. They include the Federation of Charros’ Golden Spur Award.
