Harrison Begay (Haashké yah Níyá)

Harrison Begay was an important American Indian artist. He studied at the Santa Fe Indian School and became one of the most proficient artist in the Indian style of flat painting. Many of his work portray traditions of Navajo life. Begay was a founder of Tewa Enterprises, which produced prints of Indian paintings.
