(p.293 Harper)Label TextIn this sketch of lodges of the Indian near Kettle Falls, small pencil numbers above the lodges identify individual ownership. In the Landscape Log Kane wrote that number 1 belonged to the head chief, number 2 to the second chief and number 3 to the salmon chief.
