Description100 original parts in 7 volumes with 500 plates total. The parts have blue and cream paper covers and are stored in brown cloth portfolios (7 volumes). This is the first octavo edition and the plates are in systematic/ species order. Each part contains five plates derived from the original double elephant folio size birds accompanied by text from "Ornithological Biography."
