Label TextDoug Hyde creates sculpture inspired by Native American stories and traditions. Of Nez Perce, Assiniboine and Chippewa heritage, he draws upon the lore he learned from his grandfather and other elders. He attended and taught at the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
