Lutcher Stark Foundation; accessioned to the Stark Museum of Art | 1. In a letter dated Oct. 8, 1958, from Nada Kramar, Washington, D. C., from whom this set was purchased, she states: "This set comes from a descendant of an old New York family whose head was a personal friend of John James Audubon." (see Stark file 13-30, p. 14)
