Label TextCoarse humor is often associated with the cowboy. Andy Anderson created caricatures of the cowboy with his rough-hewn carving. He exaggerated features like the bulbous nose. Anderson depicted the cowboy with a bag of tobacco dangling from his mouth as he starts to roll a cigarette. An inscription under the base gives a text, “Uncle John, duz cowpunchers eat hay? Yes, Sonny, if you put wiskey on it.”
