Label TextIn Fireside Songs, Taos Indians, Sharp shows the effects of the fire in the orange glow that it gives to the scene. It is not necessary to see the fire itself. Two drummers create music with their sienna-colored drums. They establish a rhythm for singing their traditional songs. Two of the men wear Plains Indian war shirts with strips of bright orange on the shoulders and sleeves. These strips give bright lines of color to enhance the composition.
