DescriptionRectangular shape; padded blue silk; raised oval shaped compartment in center; depresesed pink silk compartment on either side of center; pink silk base; pink and green rosebud silk trim around edge; two raised circular gold colored metal fittings (possibly gold leaf due to lack of tarnish or patina).

Card (HC.61.900.106) in object indicates Sewing Box was a gift from Miriam Lutcher Stark to her mother Frances Ann Lutcher. Card is possibly not associated with Sewing Box and was added later.
