BiographyFrank Lebby Stanton was born in South Carolina on February 22, 1857. He became a well respected lyricist, served as Georgia Poet Lauriet, and wrote newspaper columns. He wrote lyrics for well known songs of the early 20th century like "Mighty Lak a Rose". He died on January 7,1927 in Atlanta Georgia.
