Provenance(C. Bland Jamison, Santa Fe, New Mexico) [1]; purchased May 22, 1959 by H.J. Lutcher Stark [1887-1965]; bequeathed September 2, 1965 to the Nelda C. and H.J. Lutcher Stark Foundation; accessioned to the Stark Museum of Art | 1. C. Bland Jamison purchased 13 paintings by Fechin from an unknown owner in July 1958 according to a letter to H.J. Lutcher Stark dated July 31, 1958 (see file 13-99). This was one of the paintings on the list.
