Label TextBorn in North Ogden, Utah, Teichert grew up in the West. After marriage, she settled on a ranch in Cokeville, Wyoming, and created art while raising a family. She developed an ethereal style to interpret subjects like the Hereford cattle that she knew well from ranching. Her style featured paint applied thinly with loose brushstrokes over a charcoal underdrawing. She often painted decorative borders like this basket weave pattern.
