DescriptionSix colorsLabel TextIn this print, Baumann depicted three katsinas from his large collection of Hopi figures. As an artist who made art by carving into wood and applying color, Bauman admired the artistry of the Hopi carvings that are painted. The figure on the left is Koyemsi, the Mud-Head Clown. In the middle is Salako Maiden. On the right is Avachhoya, or Qa-o, the Spotted Corn Kachina.
