Description5 colors. Printed on cream Zanders laid paper with the hand-in-heart watermark.Label TextBaumann created an image of the lush Tesuque Valley, north of Santa Fe, New Mexico. He used five wood blocks to make the work. His colors were purple, green, ochre, black, and gold. Notice how he printed colors over other colors to create rich effects. The numbers at the lower right identify the edition. The number 3 followed by I means this is the third print of Baumann’s first session of printing of this work. The number 125 signifies the edition size. Baumann planned to make 125 prints of Rio Tesuque, but he later wrote that he had made only 89.
