DescriptionOne page letter with portrait.Label TextRussell wrote this letter to Joe Scheuerle. Also an artist, Scheuerle did portraits of Indians.The Russells enjoyed having artists visit them in Montana. Russell’s stationery featured a buffalo skull. It was a symbol of the West that had passed.
