Label TextIn this sketch Russell commemorated a bittersweet event. Artist Philip R. Goodwin visited Russell, and the two men traveled to the Lazy KY Ranch in northern Montana. Russell planned to sell his part ownership in the ranch. The two friends, however, enjoyed a five-day ride back to Great Falls on horses Sandy and Dave.
