DescriptionTwo men on horses with pack horse, one man holding a bottle.Label TextIn this printed card, Russell returned to his familiar themes for holiday greetings. He depicted two cowboys, one offering a bottle with good cheer. The poem uses western metaphors like the “trail” for life and “the pass on the Big Divide” for death. Russell reflected on life’s meaning during the holidays.
