Label TextThe young woman who posed for this study modeled for several paintings by Dunton. She also played a role in his home. According to the artist’s children, the young woman did housework for the divorced artist. The children remembered her name as Betty, but did not remember her last name. Dunton called her Romaldita in titles and inscriptions. Is there more to this story? Only the paintings remain.
