Label TextAttracted to the West, Delano claimed a homestead on Cataract Creek, Colorado, and later moved to Denver. From Colorado he made trips to Arizona and New Mexico to portray the Navajo and Pueblo peoples. In this painting he portrayed a complex scene of dancers, drummers, and observers at a ceremonial dance.
