Label TextWilliam F. “Buffalo Bill” Cody became one of the most famous Americans of his time. He was a scout, buffalo hunter, and rancher. He also organized the Wild West exposition and traveled throughout the United States and Europe. His Wild West featured vignettes of Western history and demonstrations of horsemanship and other skills. Cody brought the cowboy to the world’s attention.
